DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.06 certified 3K / 12K / Forged Carbon Fiber carbon fiber helmet shell, vacuum-bagged on aluminum tooling. Available in 3K twill, 12K twill or forged-carbon finish. Full-face, modular and open-face shapes in stock. SNELL M2025 available on select moulds. Custom paint, decals or full graphic wraps supported.
Retail buyers: 1-piece minimum with custom graphics. OEM brands: 50-piece MOQ for fully-custom designs. New helmet shell tooling takes 60-90 days including FEA, prototype and DOT/ECE re-certification ($15K-$45K tooling cost). Once tooled, production runs in 25-day cycles. Are your carbon fiber helmets DOT, ECE or SNELL certified?+
Our standard motorcycle full-face helmets are DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.06 certified. SNELL M2025 certified shells are available for select moulds with longer lead times (45-60 days). We can issue certification documents to your importer.
What is the MOQ for custom-graphic carbon fiber helmets?+
Retail buyers: 1 piece minimum with custom paint/decals. Bulk buyers: 50 pcs minimum for fully-custom graphics with your artwork. Wholesale plain carbon (3K/12K/forged) starts at MOQ 30 pcs.
Which carbon weave do you recommend for helmets?+
3K twill is our standard — light, attractive and the most cost-effective. 12K twill offers a bolder texture for premium retail SKUs. Forged carbon (chopped fiber) gives a marbled "Lamborghini" look at +$30/pc. All three pass DOT shell-impact testing.
How long does helmet mould development take for OEM brands?+
New helmet shell tooling: 60-90 days including FEA, prototype, and DOT/ECE re-certification. Tooling cost runs $15,000-$45,000 depending on size range. Once tooling is amortised, production runs in 25-day cycles at MOQ 50 per colorway.
