All three. NTAG213 suits simple URL redirects; NTAG215 is the most common for vCard / profile links; NTAG216 offers more memory for richer payloads. We recommend chip type during the quote based on your use case.
Do carbon fiber NFC cards work with iPhone and Android?+
Yes. We design the antenna stack for carbon fiber conductivity and tap-test every batch on current iPhone (iOS NFC Reader) and major Android phones. Typical read distance is a few centimetres when the phone is held near the chip zone.
What data can you encode — URL, vCard, editable profile?+
We pre-encode static URLs, vCards, or links to an editable digital profile (you update contact info later without reprinting cards). Optional chip lock prevents accidental overwrite. Provide your encoding list as a spreadsheet before production.
Do you include a QR code backup?+
Yes — most buyers add a QR code on the reverse that opens the same URL or profile. That covers older phones and desktop scanners while the NFC tap remains the primary share action.
How do you handle NFC testing and signal isolation in carbon fiber?+
Carbon fiber is conductive, so chip placement, laminate stack and topcoat thickness affect read range. We isolate the antenna zone, validate read distance on iOS/Android, and reject units that fail tap QC before packing.
