How to Care for Your Carbon Fiber Wallet
Carbon fiber wallets and accessories are incredibly durable, but proper care will keep them looking pristine for years. Here are our top maintenance tips.
Daily Care: Carbon fiber is naturally resistant to scratches and water. Simply wipe with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints and dust. The material won't stain from normal use.
Deep Cleaning: For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth with a drop of mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners that could damage the clear coat finish.
Avoiding Damage: While carbon fiber is extremely strong, avoid dropping your wallet on hard surfaces from height — the clear coat can chip on sharp impacts. Also avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade the resin over time.
Storage: Store your carbon fiber wallet in a cool, dry place. If not in daily use, keep it in the provided dust bag or a soft pouch. Don't stack heavy objects on top of it.
What NOT To Do: Never use acetone, paint thinner, or alcohol-based cleaners. Don't try to polish with automotive compounds. Don't expose to temperatures above 80°C (176°F).
Longevity: With proper care, a CarbonEdge carbon fiber wallet will maintain its appearance and structural integrity for 10+ years. The 3K twill weave pattern actually becomes more visually striking over time as the resin develops a deeper patina.
